The Ombudsman, Ángel Gabilondo, attended the event ‘Childhood and Future. Voices and views in times of crisis’, organized by UNICEF Spain on the occasion of World Children’s Day, which is celebrated every 20th November.
During the event, which was opened by the President of UNICEF Spain, Gustavo Suárez Pertierra, and closed by the President of the Spain, Pedro Sánchez, the book UNICEF was presented: 75 years defending the rights of children.
The event was also attended by young people from UNICEF’s Councils for Children and Adolescents, as well as journalists and writers Soledad Gallego-Díaz, Julia Navarro, Gloria Lomana, Soledad Puértolas and cartoonist José María Pérez, Peridis. The presentation was made by UNICEF Spain Ambassador Teresa Viejo.
