Since 15 April, a system for recognising and compensating victims of sexual abuse within the Catholic Church has been put into operation, under the protocol signed by the Minister of the Presidency, Justice and Parliamentary Relations, the President of the Spanish Bishops’ Conference, the President of the Spanish Conference of Religious, and the Ombudsman.
