The Ombudsman, Ángel Gabilondo, met this Tuesday at the headquarters of the institution with the president of Cáritas, Manuel Bretón and the general secretary of the organisation, Natalia Peiro. During the meeting, Cáritas representatives presented the Ombudsman with the latest report by Cáritas and the Foessa Foundation on the evolution of social cohesion and the impact and consequences of Covid-19 among the most vulnerable population.

This meeting, which was also attended by the Director of the Ombudsman’s Office, Isabel Aymerich, is part of the round of contacts that Ángel Gabilondo is holding with different groups, organisations and institutions working in the field of public freedoms and human rights, with the aim of defining lines of collaboration and strengthening existing ones.
