Terrorist attack in London: Minute of silence for the victims

03-23-2017

The Spanish Ombudsman condemns the terrorist attack in London, expresses its deep sorrow for the victims, their families and the wounded, and sends its full support and solidarity to the Government of the United Kingdom in the face of the great tragedy suffered.

The Ombudsman, Soledad Becerril; the First Deputy Ombudsman, Francisco Fernández Marugán, and all the staff of the institution have kept a minute’s silence for the victims of the terrorist attack in London.

The Institution has thus shown its rejection by the terrorist attack that ravaged the English capital yesterday and caused three deaths and more than 40 wounded.

The Ombudsman has expressed her condolences to the victims and has recalled that “hate can never find any justification”.
